Cookies and browser storage
Last updated: October 6, 2026
Necessary storage supports sign-in, security and features you request. Dataset-view statistics are optional. Declining statistics does not affect search, submission or downloads.
1. Necessary cookies
isynth_refresh and isynth_refresh_remember maintain secure sign-in. They last for the browser session, or up to 7 days when you choose to stay signed in. isynth_reactionseek_flow validates the RxnSeek sign-in flow and lasts up to 5 minutes. NEXT_LOCALE stores your language choice for the browser session. Authentication cookies cannot be read by page scripts.
2. Functional storage
Local or session storage also holds drafts and search history you create, interface state and temporary credentials for protected datasets. Session storage ends with the tab session; local content can be cleared using the relevant feature or browser settings. isynth-storage-consent records only your privacy choice and expires after 365 days.
3. Optional view statistics
Only after you choose “Allow statistics” does the page write dataset_view_track_ deduplication markers to session storage and send dataset-view events. Markers end with the tab session and prevent duplicate counting within 30 seconds. Requests may include your IP address, signed-in account and coarse region supplied by request headers; collection is not anonymous. No third-party advertising or analytics SDK is currently installed.
4. Change your choice
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer and select “Necessary only” to stop future view statistics and clear statistics markers in the current tab. Withdrawal does not retroactively remove previous statistics. Contact isynth@ichemdata.com for personal-information requests. Server logs needed for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting are separate from optional view statistics.
5. Scope
This notice applies to iSynth. RxnSeek and other linked sites have their own storage and privacy practices. You can also clear or block storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may affect sign-in and access to protected resources.
